This variant maintains the same upright, stem-based growth structure as the wild type but displays reduced chlorophyll expression, giving it the "platinum" appearance. It exhibits a moderate growth rate, slower than standard green Bacopa, particularly in low-tech setups, due to its reduced photosynthetic efficiency. Optimal growth occurs under medium to high light intensity (to prevent leggy growth and maintain compact form), with CO₂ injection and micronutrient fertilization—especially iron and magnesium—recommended to enhance leaf quality and coloration.
